The first written references concerning the elaboration of wines for their sale at the Viladellops estate date as far back as the end of the nineteenth century, to be exact 1877 and continue without further interruption until 1980, the year in which production stops until it re- starts in 1999 coinciding with the incorporation of the current generation of the Desvalls family starting up a new project of 100% mediterranean wines. These wines endeavour to convey the typology stemming from native varieties from the area as the base of its wines: Garnacha for the red wines and Xarello for the whites.
